Attempting marriane's design

On Thursday I had my first go at Marianne's design. It went quite well, but wasn't as even as I would have liked. This is partly because Marianne did one eye to show me how she does it and then I did the other eye. 

I used satin primer and then skin base, then used the red eyeshadow to contour the face. Marianne wanted to block out the eyebrows but didn't have any glue so we weren't able to do it properly. She has bought some for our practice tomorrow. I think this will make a huge difference! She is also going to provide some sort of stencil so I am able to get a perfect straight line underneath the eye. We used red supra colour, but this didn't work well as it melted quite quickly around the eyes. Tomorrow we are going to try some other options- Aqua colour and wetting a regular eyeshadow.  

Lastly, I applied a neutral shade to the lips and then a red heart shape on the top lip. This has to be applied last minute as the red cannot be transferred onto the bottom!
